INCIDENT: Solicitation for Prostitution
 
LOCATION: Border of Chino Hills and City of Chino, Chino Hills
 
SUSPECT(S): Twenty-one male adult suspects, ranging in age from 24-67 years of age, and residents of various counties to include Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino.

SUMMARY: On Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at about 11:00 am, the San Bernardino County Human Trafficking Task Force, in a combined effort with deputies from the Chino Hills Police Department,  conducted an in-call motel "John" operation. The operation is part of an ongoing effort through heavy presence and enforcement, to suppress Human Trafficking/prostitution throughout the valley communities of San Bernardino County, by targeting purchasers (Johns). During the operation, undercover officers were deployed at a local motel to pose as prostitutes through on-line advertisements. As a result, the officers were contacted and solicited for acts of prostituion by several male suspects. Upon their arrival at the location, the suspects were taken into custody. After being interviewed and processed, all twenty-one suspects were transported and booked at West Valley Detention Center, for violation of PC 647(b)(2)- (Sex Buyer) Solicitation for Prostitution.
 
The San Bernardino County Human Trafficking Task Force is made up of investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, San Bernardino County District Attorney's Office, San Bernardino Police Department, Ontario Police Department, San Bernardino Unified School District Police, California State Parole, Office of Homeland Security and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
