Duo arrested on Burglary charge after breaking into local convenience store.

On September 25, 2018, at 3:30 a.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a report of an alarm at the Trade Mart located 502 W Grave Street in Patoka, Indiana. Upon arriving Deputies discovered that someone had forcefully entered the building and had taken items belonging to the store. Detective Roger Ballard conducted an investigation into the incident and as a result of his investigation 19 year old Ashtin Lang of Patoka and 19 year old Mark Mills of Evansville were arrested and transported to the Gibson County Jail where they are being held on Burglary charges.

Assisting Detective Ballard in his investigation was Sgt. John Fischer, Deputy Loren Barchett, Deputy Jennifer Loesch, and Detective Bryan Small.

All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
