Green Bay Law Enforcement, Military, Business Leaders Tout Importance of Quality Early Childhood Programs

Green Bay, WI -- On Tuesday September 25, 2018, three local community leaders will visit the Cornerstone Center of Encompass Early Education and Care to tout the benefits of quality early learning and care programs, especially to children whose parents struggle with opioid abuse. Green Bay Chief of Police Andrew Smith, Rear Admiral (Ret.) Jerry Clusen, and Nancy Schreiber, former Vice President of Education and Community Relations at Schreiber Foods, will deliver remarks and help release a new report from Council for a Strong America titled, “Caring for Young Victims of the Opioid Crisis.”

Council for a Strong America is a national, bipartisan organization made up of leaders in law enforcement, retired military, business, faith communities, and elite athletics who promote policy solutions that cut crime, build national security, and strengthen our workforce through investments in at-risk kids.
