Advisory

$10,000 reward offered for info leading to arrest of fatal hit and run driver from August, 2018 on Lancaster Bl.

Good Morning and Happy Monday Antelope Valley!

At last week's Town Hall meeting, concerns were mentioned that our station did not have a suspect in the fatal hit and run that occurred back on August 4th, 2018 on Lancaster Boulevard. As Captain Weber shared, "We need your help on this one. Someone out there knows SOMETHING, and we would love to hear from them."

While our traffic detectives have investigated every lead, we are still in need of the community's help. The Los Angeles Board of Supervisors is offering a $10,000 reward to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest and conviction of the driver of this vehicle. The vehicle, a white, late model GMC/Chevrolet 2500 or 3000 truck was last seen on Lancaster Boulevard near Elm Avenue on the night of the incident.

If you have ANY information regarding this incident or this vehicle, our detectives need you to call them! Please contact our traffic division at (661) 948-8466 or ask for Detective Bodily.

Thank you as always for your help! We couldn't do this without you! If you see something, say something. Please help us get closure for the grieving family of the victim.
