SUMMARY: On Sunday, September 23, 2018, at approximately 8:55 pm, deputies from the Yucaipa Police Department received a call from a reporting party who arrived home and observed a suspicious vehicle parked in front of their residence. The caller reported a male and female just walked away from the vehicle and into the neighborhood. A records check showed the vehicle was stolen out of Beaumont. Deputies quickly arrived at the area and contacted a male and female walking a short distance from the vehicle. The female, later identified as Leah Moore, was listed by the Beaumont Police Department as the suspect in the theft of the vehicle. Evidence found in her possession linked Moore to the vehicle, and at the conclusion of the investigation, Moore was arrested and booked at Central Detention Center.
