Traffic stop leads to arrest of Evansville woman on DUI charge. 
On September 22, 2018, at 11:16 p.m. Deputy Ben Kiesel conducted a traffic stop on a White 2013 Ford F150 for performing an unsafe lane change on US 41 near CR 990 South. Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Kiesel identified the driver as 46 year old Erica Dale of Evansville, Indiana. While speaking with Ms. Dale Deputy Kiesel detected an odor of alcohol coming from the vehicle and began a roadside DUI investigation. At the end of his investigation Deputy Kiesel placed Ms. Dale into custody and transported her to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the Jail Ms. Dale was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated. She has since posted a $650 bond.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
