The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for... Tarrant County in north central Texas... Northwestern Dallas County in north central Texas...
* Until 345 AM CDT..
* At 1141 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned area. Up to four inches of rain has already fallen in parts of Tarrant County. Flash flooding is continuing, in particular in Tarrant County to the east of Interstate 35W between 183 and Interstate 20. Avoid driving in this area overnight!
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Garland, Irving, Grand Prairie, Carrollton, Richardson, Flower Mound, Mansfield, Rowlett, Euless, Bedford, Grapevine, Cedar Hill, Haltom City, Keller, Coppell, Duncanville and Hurst.

Instructions:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
