Robbery suspect arrested 
Today at 2:53 PM, Jacob Papa (24 yrs) entered the 99 Cent Store at 1293 LA Ave. Papa placed merchandise into his backpack and attempted to exit the store without paying for the merchandise.
A store manager contacted him at the exit and Papa pushed by the manager. As the manger followed him out of the store, Papa turned and brandished a knife at the manager. Papa then entered a vehicle and fled the area.
SVPD officers responded and were given a description of Papa and the vehicle he entered. Officers located the vehicle in the area of LA Ave and First St. and stopped the vehicle.
Jacob Papa, a Simi Valley resident, was positively identified and arrested for Robbery. Papa was booked in Ventura Jail for this Felony crime.
