Every day, tens of thousands of motorists traverse through our streets and highways commuting to schools, worksites, and retail centers.　 Traffic can be frustrating, and some drivers may become impatient.　 As motorists, please be responsible drivers and considerate of everyone on the roadway.　
Aggressive driving often involves unsafe speed, making unsafe lane changes, failing to stop for stop signs and red lights, and other hazardous vehicle code violations.  Aggressive driving poses a danger to other motorists and pedestrians.  Reckless drivers can and will be arrested for Reckless Driving, 23103 CVC.  A reckless driving arrest may create a significant financial burden due to the fines, court penalties, increase in vehicle insurance premiums, cost of impound fees, and loss of wages. A tragic consequence of reckless driving may also lead to a lifetime of regret.
