Shooting
On Sept. 18 around 11:50 p.m., Jackson police responded to a shooting in the area of Honeysuckle Drive and Locust Lane. Upon arrival officers made contact with a 19-year-old man who had sustained injuries from a gunshot. The victim told officers, while walking in the area, he was confronted by a subject driving a gray Hyundai with dark tinted windows. The victim advised he was shot during the confrontation.
The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. This is an ongoing investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact the Jackson Police Department at 731-425-8400 or Crime Stoppers.
