POLICE INVESTIGATE ARMED ROBBERY AND SHOOTING
HOLLISTER, CALIFORNIA – September 17, 2018 – The Hollister Police Department is seeking help identifying two males who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint.
On September 15, 2018, about 1:30 A.M., an unknown male entered the Quik Stop at 10 San Felipe Road. He pulled out a handgun, pointed it at the clerk and made various demands. As the robbery continued, the clerk feared for his life and made an attempt to escape. As the clerk struggled to escape, the robber fired one shot, hitting the cash register. The clerk was able to escape and was not injured.
A second suspect entered the store and both males stole various items from the store.
The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male 18-20 years old, short and thin. He was wearing a black beanie and gray sweatshirt with black/white jogging pants. He was carrying a silver colored 9mm handgun.
The second suspect is also a Hispanic male 18-20 years old, taller and thin. He was wearing a black hoodie and pants, thin mustache and a blue backpack.
