On Wednesday September 12, 2018 at approximately 11 pm the Fairfield Police Department SWAT team served a search warrant in the 1400 block of Stewart Drive. The search warrant was the culmination of a long investigation into the address based on numerous complaints of illegal activities at the residence. While the criminal investigation was underway the Fairfield Police Department Code Enforcement Unit was also conducting an investigation based on the overall condition of the home.
The search warrant resulted in the detention of 15 people of various ages. Three adults were arrested on various drug related charges and one unrelated arrest warrant. Several children were placed with Solano County Child Protective Services.
On the following morning Code Enforcement posted a notice of non-occupancy at the residence preventing anyone from retuning without permission or significant improvement to the residence to bring the home into a condition appropriate for occupancy.
