PCH lane closures Deer Crk Rd (Ventura Cty) to Busch Dr Sat & Sun, 9/15-16, 5AM-12PM - Nautica Malibu Triathlon 
One lane in each direction on PCH will be closed between Busch Dr and Deer Creek Rd (Ventura County) on Saturday & Sunday, September 15 & 16, from 5:00 AM to 12:00 PM for the annual Nautica Malibu Triathlon.
The two-day event involves a triathlon race each day, with each course running along PCH from Westward Beach to Deer Creek Rd in Ventura County, and along the beach. The Fitness Exposition will take place at Zuma Beach during the two-day event, with parking and shuttle service for the public and volunteers at three locations: Zuma Beach parking lot, Point Dume parking lot, and Malibu High School.
There will be a maximum of 5,000 participants expected over the two days, with approximately 500 volunteers to be used over the course of the event.
Caltrans has issued an encroachment permit for the PCH lane closures. Motorists should anticipate delays and allow for extra time or use alternate routes.
