The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a High Surf Advisory, which is in effect from 8:00 PM this evening until 6:00 PM Friday.

* LOCATIONS...The New Jersey Shore and the Delaware Beaches.

* RIP CURRENT RISK...High.

* TIMING...Through Friday.

* SURF ZONE IMPACTS...Large breaking waves and life threatening rip currents will be dangerous to anyone who enters the surf.

* SURF HEIGHT...Waves in the surf zone will build to 5 to 8 feet.

* AFFECTED AREAS: EASTERN MONMOUTH ... COASTAL OCEAN ... ATLANTIC COASTAL CAPE MAY ... DELAWARE BEACHES ... COASTAL ATLANTIC
