Update on Missing Palo Alto Woman; Family Now Offering Reward

The family of 66-year-old missing person Wamaitha Kaboga-Miller has created a website to help locate her, and they are now offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to her whereabouts. For more information, visit https://www.findwamaitha.com/.

Police continue to actively investigate her disappearance. Our detectives have no new leads and are still encouraging the public to call in tips and possible sightings.

It has been nearly four weeks since Kaboga-Miller went missing on Friday, August 17. She was last seen driving away from the Country Time Market on University Avenue in East Palo Alto, heading east. Her family filed a missing person report with our department on Saturday, August 18. Since then, our detectives have been searching for any sign of her.

We have followed up on all tips that have been received, however none of them have led to a confirmed sighting of Kaboga-Miller or her vehicle. To date, there has been nothing to indicate that there is a criminal aspect to her disappearance.

Kaboga-Miller takes numerous prescription medications, but she left those medications at home. We are in regular communication with her family and it is our sincere hope that we can locate her safe and sound. She was last seen driving a silver 2002 Mercedes Benz with a California license plate of DP241LU.

Anyone with information about Kaboga-Miller or her vehicle is asked to call our 24-hour dispatch center at 650-329-2413. Anonymous tips can be e-mailed to [email protected] or sent via text message or voicemail to 650-383-8984.
