This morning, September 11th at 8:45am – Monroe Township will briefly commemorate those who lost their lives and those who were forever changed by the horrific events of that day.
Please join us on 9/11 at the Monroe Township Memorial Tree Park on Prospect Plains and Half Acre Road for a wreath laying and moment of silence.
All township vehicles (Police, fire, EMS, DPW, MTUD) have been asked to activate their lights and sirens, wherever they are in the municipality, precisely at 8:46am for one full minute to mark this solemn occasion for all residents. Please be aware of this, as there may be no emergency.
