* At 815 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Cuervo, or 19 miles east of Santa Rosa, moving southeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
* Locations impacted include... Quay, Newkirk, Sumner Lake State Park and Sumner Lake. This includes Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 299 and 309.
