The Flood Warning continues for
The Potomac River at Shepherdstown.
* From late tomorrow morning until Wednesday evening.
* At 9 PM Sunday the stage was 8.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by late tomorrow morning and
crest near 18.9 feet by early tomorrow evening. The river will fall
below flood stage by late Wednesday afternoon.
* Impact...At 19.0 feet...Water covers the pedestrian bridge adjacent
to the Shepherdstown boat ramp. Significant portions of the C&O
Canal towpath are flooded.
Instructions:
Turn around, don’t drown.
