* Flash Flood Warning for... Greenup County in northeastern Kentucky... Northwestern Carter County in northeastern Kentucky...
* Until 230 PM EDT.
* At 1131 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated training thunderstorms producing torrential rain across the warned area. This area has already received over 2 inches of rain overnight and flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Olive Hill, Carter Caves State Park, Greenup, Gesling, Greenbo Lake, Oldtown, Franklin Furnace, Load, Letitia, Carter, Flatwoods, Raceland, Worthington, South Shore, Wurtland, Brushart, Sciotoville, Warnock, Soldier and Globe.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
