Town hall closed January 1; no Friday garbage pick-up. Gate City still exempt from Boil Notice. 
Gate City Town Hall will be closed for New Year's Day Friday, January 1. Public works will also be closed for the day. Regular service will resume when the town reopens for business on Monday, January 4.
The Boil Notice issued by Scott County PSA was primarily for the Duffield area. Gate City remains free from any notice.
