* At 1040 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms across the warned area. Flash flooding is expected. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are likely, with slightly higher amounts possible. Grounds are already saturated, so this additional round of heavy rain this morning increases the flash flooding potential. Standing water issues have already been reported across Perry County, Illinois. The rains should let up there by Noon.
