With the 1st annual Bigfoot Festival tomorrow, September 8, 2018, the Marion Police Department would like to remind drivers of road closures. Beginning at 8:00 AM, Main Street will be closed between Henderson Street and New Street. Traffic will be detoured onto Logan and Garden Streets. Vendor registration will begin on East Court Street at 9:30 AM.
Also, a 5K will begin at 8:00 AM. Please be conscience of runners in the road ways.
The festival begins at 12-6 PM during this time, there will be heavy foot traffic on Main Street and surrounding streets during these times. Drivers are urged to please use caution.
