The WW-P Schools will be officially open on Thursday Sept. 6, 2018. Since we will have many children at the various schools throughout the Township, we're requesting everyone to use extra caution to ensure safe travels. Please be alert for pedestrians, crosswalks, and bicycles around town. Our Officers will be on on the roadways specifically looking for those vehicles that pass stopped school buses.
We would like to advise the public that the WWPD has worked closely with the WW-P Schools Transportation Dept. and Superintendent Dr. Aderhold's Office on a plan for Clarksville Road in the area of Maurice Hawk Elementary School. Delays in the area were prevalent prior to any of the current construction that the school is undertaking. Traffic Sgt. Bal has provided the attached map with details on the new traffic patterns inside of the school's parking area as well as a safety walkway. Please review them closely if you are intending on using the Hawk School lots. We will have an increased presence in the area to offer assistance.
