INCIDENT: Assault with a Deadly Weapon
LOCATION: Avenue D at Adams Street, Yucaipa
SUSPECT(S): Unknown
VICTIM(S): 24-year-old male, Resident of Big Bear
SUMMARY:
Deputies responded to reports of a fight in the street that began at a party on Avenue D. While driving to the location, deputies received information one of the parties involved in the fight had been stabbed. The victim was located at the scene and transported by ambulance to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment of his injuries. The injuries are not life threatening and the victim should recover.
The other parties involved in the fight fled the scene before deputies arrived. The investigation in ongoing at this time and the identity of the victim is being withheld for his safety.
