Flash Flood Watch until 12:00AM Sunday
The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a
* Flash Flood Watch for a portion of northeast West Virginia, including the following areas, Northwest Pocahontas, Northwest Randolph, Southeast Pocahontas, Southeast Randolph, and Southeast Webster.
* Until midnight EDT tonight
* Rounds of showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy downpours, combined with wet soils across the area may lead to flash flooding.
* Streams, creeks, and low lying areas will be most vulnerable to flooding. Rises on area rivers will also be possible over the next several days.
* AFFECTED AREAS: NORTHWEST POCAHONTAS ... NORTHWEST RANDOLPH ... SOUTHEAST WEBSTER ... SOUTHEAST POCAHONTAS ... SOUTHEAST RANDOLPH

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation. You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
