Thanks to a traffic enforcement grant, extra officers will be on patrol this afternoon and evening with the goal of making drivers more diligent in their driving practices, reducing traffic accidents and arresting drunk drivers. Please, buckle up, put those distractions away, and obey the posted speed limits. If you plan on drinking, plan ahead. Get a sober ride home. Remember, buzzed driving IS drunk driving.
