Flood Clean-up Volunteer Opportunities

I want to thank everyone for the overwhelming response of wanting to help. We have identified two volunteer clean-up efforts for this weekend. If you are available and interested, please join us:

NOTE: Volunteers for both events will be required to complete a liability waiver available for download at http://bit.ly/VolunteerRelease. Anyone under the age of 18 will need a parent or legal guardian to sign the waiver.

Middleton Bike Park – Saturday, September 1st
9:00 am – Noon
1322 Pleasant View Road – meet at trailhead
Volunteer efforts will focus on repair work to the trail system, volunteers are encouraged to bring work gloves. Work will occur unless it is raining hard or severe weather.

Firefighters/Penni Klein Park – Sunday, September 2nd
10:00 am – Noon
3201 Pleasant View Road – meet at playground at Firefighters Memorial Park
Volunteer efforts will focus on cleaning up storm debris, volunteers are encouraged to bring work gloves. Also, wheelbarrows, rakes, and shovels encouraged, some will be provided.

More volunteer efforts will be announced in the future.
