Deputies are asking for help in identifying possible stolen property recovered from a traffic stop

LOCATION: 3422 20th Street, in the City of Highland
SUSPECT(S): Carlos Gonzales, 34-year-old resident of Rialto
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On August 27, 2018, at approximately 7:55 am, Quality of Life Deputies saw an occupied stolen vehicle on 20th Street, east of Orange Street, in the City of Highland. The deputies did a high-risk traffic stop, and the driver ran from the vehicle. After a short foot pursuit, the driver was detained without incident. The driver was identified as Carlos Gonzales, who is on active Post-Release Community Supervision for CVC 10851 (a) – Grand theft auto. Gonzales was arrested and booked into county jail.
Deputies searched the vehicle and found an abundance of property that is believed to be stolen. Deputies are asking for help in identifying the possible stolen property so they can return it to the rightful owners.
