Southern Adams County in central Wisconsin...
* Until 545 AM CDT.
* At 249 AM CDT, heavy rain continues across the warned area. Radar
estimates 3 to 7 inches of rain has fallen already. Flash flooding
is occurring. Law enforcement reported water over the roadway on
Highway 33 near Union City and near Wonewoc.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Mauston, New Lisbon, Adams, Elroy, Wonewoc, Lemonweir, Lindina,
Camp Douglas, Lyndon Station, Union Center, Hustler, Dells
Timberland Campground, Johnson Hill, Stand Rock Campground and Big Spring.
Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are possible in the
warned area.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
