Property damage accident leads to arrest of Alabama man on DUI charge. 
On August 23, 2018, at 7:04 p.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a report of an accident at the intersection of US 41 and State Road 168. Upon arriving Deputy Jennifer Loesch began an investigation into the accident and determined that a White 2003 Ford Taurus rear ended a Grey 2003 Ford F150. While speaking with the drivers Deputy Loesch believed that the driver of the Ford Taurus 30 year old Hiram Plemmons of Dutton Alabama was under the influence of an unknown intoxicant. At that point Deputy Loesch conducted a DUI investigation that resulted in Mr. Plemmons being taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated (DUI.) He remains in custody on a $1300 bond.
Assisting Deputy Loesch in her investigation was Fort Branch Officer Darrell Parker.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
