Press Release/Attempt to Identify-
Over the past couple weeks, we have been experiencing residential burglaries that are occurring during the overnight, while the homes are occupied. In every instance, the suspect entered and remained in the home while the residents were sleeping. To date, we have had several of these incidents. At no time has a resident ever been awoken or contacted by the suspect. The male suspect has taken alcohol and car keys during his burglaries, in most cases then stealing the vehicle and leaving the area. All of these reported incidents have taken place in the area of Georges Road/Rt.130. We believe that the same suspect has also committed a few of these burglaries in neighboring towns as well. We have recovered evidence from the incidents reported, and are actively following those leads. There may also be the possibility that he has entered some homes without anyone realizing it, and therefore not reporting it to us. We have attached several images taken from surveillance systems, as well as a couple video segments. If anyone knows or can identify this man, please contact us at the number below. These types of incidents are very rare, so we are requesting your help to Identify this suspect.
We ask residents to lock all first floor windows during the overnight hours, and pay attention to any/all suspicious noises overnight. If you see any suspicious persons around your home, please report them to police. Do not attempt to confront the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call Detectives at 732-247-0922 x420.
