The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has extended the

* Flood Warning for... Morgan County in the Panhandle of West Virginia... Western Berkeley County in the Panhandle of West Virginia...

* Until 300 AM EDT.

* At 1152 PM EDT, stream gauges indicate flooding is occurring on Warm Springs Run in Berkeley Springs. Other streams in the area may also be experiencing flooding. Heavy rain is ending and water is receding, but impacts are likely continuing after numerous road were closed in Morgan County.

* Some locations that may experience flooding include... Greenwood, Berkeley Springs, Great Cacapon, Hedgesville, Johnsons Mill, Tomahawk, Johnsontown, Valley View, Fishers Bridge, Spohrs Crossroads, Oakland, Rock Gap, Smith Crossroads, Jones Springs, Unger, New Hope, Shady Grove, Glengary, Omps and Shanghai.

* AFFECTED AREAS: BERKELEY, WV ... MORGAN, WV

Instructions:

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
