Felonious Assault Arrests - Swan Creek Mobile Home Community

On Sunday, August 19th, 2018 at 4:37a.m., The Huron Township Police Department responded to the 23500 block of Manor Drive (Swan Creek Mobile Home Community) for a report of a felonious assault that had just occurred. The Sumpter Township Police Department assisted initially with the response to the location. A resident reported that multiple males entered her residence and held one of the occupants of the residence at gunpoint. No shots were fired, and the suspects fled the residence. The suspect vehicle was located within minutes near the intersection of Judd and Clark Roads. One weapon was recovered and three (3) suspects were taken into custody. A 27-year-old male from St. Clair Shores, a 28-year-old man from Chesterfield, and a 27-year-old man from Romeo are being held in the Huron Township Jail pending possible charges from the Wayne County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. Further information and booking photos will be provided following arraignment. The investigation is ongoing and no further information to be released at this time. This was not a random crime. There was a relationship between at least one of the suspects and at least one of the occupants of the residence where the assault occurred. We continue to investigate, but we have no reason at this time to believe that this is related to any other crimes in the area or that there is any danger to the public
