8/17/18 - 4:07 p.m. - Police were called to Lee's Home Center, for a retail theft. The suspect had left the scene however, employees were able to provide a good description of the suspect and suspect vehicle, as well as provide the registration plate number of the vehicle. The police department contacted the Belleville Police Department, and requested officers to be on the lookout for the suspect vehicle. A short time later, Millstadt Officers were notified that Belleville Officers had the suspect detained at a residence in south Belleville. A Millstadt Officer responded to the location. Upon investigating, stolen merchandise was located, and the suspect was arrested.
Nicholas J. Linden Jr., age 52 or Belleville, was charged with Retail Theft.
