SUSPECT VEHICLE: Silver 2003 Ford Expedition SUV
On August 2, 2018, at approximately 4:57 A.M., officers responded to the coin-op laundry on N. Abel Street on the report of a lost cellular phone, which may have been picked up by two patrons. Officers contacted Jordan and Capili in front of the business and found them placing items in their vehicle. Jordan provided officers with a false name and fled on foot. After a short foot pursuit, Jordan was taken into custody. Jordan was in possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and he had an arrest warrant for possession of drugs while in possession of a loaded firearm.
Officers searched their vehicle and found a loaded revolver with an altered serial number. Officers, also, discovered Capili was in possession of drug paraphernalia.
Jordan was booked into the Santa Clara County main jail on charges of providing a false name, obstructing a police officer, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of narcotics, possession of a loaded firearm, possession of a firearm with an altered serial number, possession of a concealed firearm, being a felon in possession of ammunition and a firearm, and the outstanding warrant. Capili was booked into the main jail on charges of possession of a concealed firearm, carrying a loaded firearm, possession of a firearm with an altered serial number, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
