The City of Fremont has issued a permit for the Festival of India & Parade August 18 - 19, 2018. The Festival of India is taking place at the Superior Court of California parking lot, located at 39439 Paseo Padre Pkwy, and on Walnut Ave between Paseo Padre Pkwy and Liberty Street, on both days. On Sunday, several additional roads will be closed for a parade.
Please be advised of the following road closures in Downtown Fremont this weekend:

Friday, August 17 at 6:00 p.m. to Sunday, August 9, 2018 at 8:00 p.m.:
• Lot at 39439 Paseo Padre Pkwy (Superior Court of California)
Saturday, August 18 at 7:00 a.m. to Sunday, August 19, 2017 at 8:00 p.m.:
• Walnut Ave. – between Paseo Padre Pkwy. & Liberty St.
Parade Closures (SUNDAY ONLY)
Sunday, August 18, 2018 from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.:
• Paseo Padre Pkwy. - between Mowry Ave. & Stevenson Blvd.
• Walnut Ave. - between Driveway (about 600 ft. east of Paseo Padre Pkwy.) & Liberty St.
• Liberty St. - between Capitol Ave. & Beacon Ave.
• Capitol Ave. - between State St. & Paseo Padre Pkwy.
• Kearny St. - between Stevenson Blvd. & Liberty Ave.
• City of Fremont Development Services parking lot at 39550 Liberty St.
Note: State St. and Beacon Ave. will remain open
