Residential Burglaries

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
There have been recent cases in Redondo Beach involving residential burglaries.

There has been a recent increase in burglaries around town, especially in the Franklin Park area. Please pass this information along to your neighbors via your Neighborhood Watch roster, Facebook and Nextdoor as soon as possible.

Please alert all of your neighbors. Extra police patrols have been initiated.

There have been reports of a white BMW with 2 to 3 individuals in it, knocking on doors, if no one answers they break into the house. They also have used women and children to assist in their crime spree. If you notice any suspicious vehicle cruising your neighborhood, try to get the license plate numbers. Any additional info like time of day can be beneficial.

The Ring doorbell or another brand that allows you to answer your door remotely can be a deterrent and will capture an image of the suspects.

Also, please be aware of a man going door to door in the Golden Triangle/McBain and Manhattan Beach Blvd. area. The suspect has been telling residents about road closures and asking for days the following week when they will be home, then asking to use the restroom. Do NOT allow anyone in your home you do not know.
CALL POLICE DISPATCH: 310-379-5411.  If the person is aggressive or threatening you, CALL 911 immediately.
