Flash Flood Warning until 10:15AM

The National Weather Service in Charleston West Virginia has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Northeastern Lewis County in northern West Virginia...

* Until 1015 AM EDT.

* At 751 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Weston, Stonewall Jackson and Horner.

* AFFECTED AREAS: LEWIS, WV

Instructions:

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or creeks. Please report Severe Weather to the National Weather Service by calling toll free, 800 401 9535, when you can do so safely.
