Motorcycle driver in critical condition after accident 
Sheboygan police officers investigated a motor vehicle accident involving a car and a motorcycle at Michigan Ave and N 3rd St. The motorcycle, driven by a 23 year old Sheboygan man, was travelling eastbound on Michigan Ave when he struck an SUV driven by a 50 year old Sheboygan man.
According to witness statements, the motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed just prior to the accident. The driver, who was not wearing a helmet, was taken by Flight for Life to an Appleton area hospital. No others were injured in the accident. The Sheboygan Police Accident Reconstruction Team was utilized to investigate the crash. Alcohol is believed to be a factor.
