Deputies are investigating multiple incidents where vehicles were entered and items were stolen; along with an incident of a vehicle being stolen in the Webster Church / Valentine / Jennings area.  In all cases the vehicles were left unlocked and the keys were in the vehicle that was stolen.  It appears this all occurred between 2:00am and 6:00am.
If you have any information regarding these incidents please contact the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office through our confidential tip line (734) 973-7711 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-Speak-UP.

Thieves are opportunistic and look for the easiest way in and out. The more you can secure your property the less likely you are to have your automobile broken into.

-Secure valuables out of sight
-Lock the vehicle doors
-Do not leave GPS/ Smartphone holders in view
-Do not leave paperwork in your vehicle with personal information
