Lake Transit Authority is providing free rides on all regularly scheduled bus and paratransit services from August 10 - 17 to assist Lake County residents with their transportation needs in the aftermath of the Mendocino/Lake Complex Fire.
The free service coincides with the opening of the one-stop Local Assistance Center located at the LUCERNE ALPINE SENIOR CENTER, 3985 Country Club Drive, Lucerne. Lake Transit Route 1 will provide service directly to and from this location. For schedule information, please go to www.laketransit.org. At the bottom of the home page you can select Route 1 to see the schedule, or you may use the Trip Planner to get a detailed trip plan in Google Maps.
This free community service does not modify pre-purchased fares, and no refunds will be given for monthly pass holders.
