Full Notification

On the afternoon of Aug 8^th, 2018 Frontier Communications notified the Pocahontas County Emergency Management office that approximately 393 customers of the area code 681-202 phone exchange at Snowshoe and 894 customers of the 456 phone exchange in the Green Bank and Arbovale areas of Pocahontas County are unable to make outside calls.   These customers may still be able to make calls within those exchanges, but they not be able to call 9-1-1.  Frontier has dispatched representatives to track the source of the problem, but at this point they do not have an estimate of how long it will take to restore the phone service.
