Yesterday the Sheboygan Police investigated a dog bite to a 4-year old child. Officers were told that the incident occurred in the playground at King Park. We put out a Nixle/Facebook/Twitter post asking for the public's help in identifying the dog. We received several helpful tips and determined that the attack did not happen in King Park, but occurred in a residence in the 1500 block of S. 8th St.

The owner of the dog was actually one of the witnesses, along with the child's father, who told officers that the attack occurred in the park. The owner and the father will both be facing charges of criminal obstruction. The owner was also cited for failing to obtain a dog license. We would like to again thank the public for their help with this investigation.
