Police searching for driver of stolen car - involved in police chase 
California City - Police are searching for the driver of a stolen car that lead officers on a chase through Cal City Friday night. Officers spotted a car driving erratically near California City Blvd At Hacienda Blvd around 10:45 last evening. The vehicle, a black 1994 Acura, fled from Police. Officers chased the car on North Loop Blvd where speeds neared 100 MPH. The Acura drove through Mobile Home Village near Campfire Drive and crashed into a Parker car on Morning Glory Drive.
The suspect fled on foot through several back yards where officers lost sight of him.
The vehicle had been reported stolen a week ago.
The suspect is described as a white male,20-25 years of age, around 6 feet tall thin build around 150 lbs.
