We are investigating a shooting that occurred near the Safeway in Midtown earlier this evening. The suspect(s) fled the scene in a car. No one was struck and there are no injuries. Responding officers found the suspect vehicle and pursued it to Highway 101, but lost sight of it there.
We have plenty of officers in the area and the neighborhood is safe. The suspect(s) are unknown at this point and remain at large. We'll have more info available for release tomorrow, after we've had a chance to complete the preliminary investigation tonight.
