The Montebello Police Department is proud to invite the community to the 35^th Annual National Night Out. This year’s event is taking place on Tuesday, August 7^th between 6:00 pm and 9:00 in 1600/1700 block of W. Victoria Avenue. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. Montebello is one of thousands of cities across the United States who will be participating.

National Night Out will provide a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. Community members will be able to see several different bureaus of the department on display and be able to meet and talk with officers. Guests will be treated to tours of the station, demonstrations from our K9 team and Special Response Team, music, giveaways, a movie in the park at 7:00pm and much more. This will also be a great opportunity to get information about neighborhood watch, crime and ID theft prevention and other general safety tips. There will be several food trucks as well with delicious food and deserts.

Over the past few years, participation in National Night Out has continued to grow and each year attendance at the event has increased. We at Montebello Police Department have been working tirelessly to engage as many community groups, youth and service organizations and local businesses to participate in the event. The diversity of representation of these groups at our event is a true testament this event provides a unique opportunity to get to know not only the Montebello Police Department, but all of the unique people that live and work in Montebello.
