Sheriff’s Office monitoring new fire 2.5 mi. north of Mendocino Co line. No active threat to Sonoma. 
The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office is monitoring a new fire approximately 2.5 miles north of the Mendocino County line. Sonoma County Sheriffs Deputies are currently assisting Mendocino County Sheriffs and Fire Personnel. At this point in time, there is not a threat to Sonoma County residents and no evacuation orders are in place for Sonoma County. Please monitor the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office Nixle and Facebook Page for updates. We will continually update with new information as it comes in.
