Celebrate National Night Out with your Pomona Police Department on Tuesday, August 7th from 5-8pm in the Civic Center Plaza.
"National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while brining back a true sense of community."
This year there will be an opportunity drawing, entertainment, and activities for kids. In addition to the activities, we will also be having a canned food drive for the Pomona Police Officer's Association annual turkey giveaway. Donate 2 canned food items that compliment a turkey dinner and receive 1 free opportunity drawing ticket.
This is a night for all of America to stand together to promote awareness, safety and neighborhood unity.
