The National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac has issued a

* Tornado Warning for... Central Wayne County in southeastern Michigan...

* Until 115 AM EDT.

* At 1244 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Taylor, moving northeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near... Wyandotte around 105 AM EDT. Dearborn and Greenfield Village around 115 AM EDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Melvindale, Ecorse, Allen Park, River Rouge, Lincoln Park, Riverview, Southgate and Dearborn Heights.

* AFFECTED AREAS: WAYNE, MI
