LOCATION: 26540 3rd Street, Highland - Los Potrillas Nightclub

SUSPECT: Frank Camacho, 32 years old, resident of Rialto


SUMMARY:
On July 30, 2018, at approximately 1:00 p.m., deputies assigned to the Highland Police Department conducted a bar check at Los Potrillas Nightclub. During the bar check, a loaded revolver was located and a records check revealed the revolver was reported stolen in 2002 in the City of Alhambra. Through investigation, it was determined Frank Camacho was in possession of the stolen revolver. Additionally, Camacho was also in possession of suspected methamphetamine.

Los Potrillas Nightclub has been closed since June 2017 because there is no business license issued through the City of Highland. Investigators are working with the City of Highland to determine if the suspect occupied the vacant business illegally. The Highland Police Department encourages Highland residents to report suspicious behavior and to remain diligent in watching vacant commercial buildings that may be occupied by illegal businesses. These locations are a breeding ground for crime.
